Predator illuminators are ruggedized and weatherproof for installation indoors or out, have a life expectancy of 100,000 hours, and come with their own power supply featuring an ambient light sensor to turn the illuminator on and off as necessary.

Add as many illuminators as needed. Each is autonomous with its own ambient light sensor and power supply. And, of course, The Predator's broad-range IR sensitivity permits the use of illuminators which do not betray their presence by glowing, and cast light invisible to the human eye. Consequently, intruders are unaware that they are "in the spotlight".

Equipped with one or more illuminators, the Predator Camera System penetrates the darkest nights to capture ultra-high resolution images, and the entry-level 18x/36x zoom lens (optical zoom & software gain provides up to 144x zoom)enables one to monitor a large area, and zoom in for identification when activity is detected.

And, the illuminators are eye-safe at distances beyond 4 feet.
